Let's say

town in Croatia, near Zagreb which is capital of Croatia. It's placed
on the small hill (58m). First time Kriz is mentioned in 1334 in register

anctorum"). First church in Kriz was called St. Cross (Svetog
Kriza) the place was having the same name so Kriz was called then
Santo Cross (Sveti Kriz). In 16th century Turks attacked
Kriz but they haven't destroyed it. So Kriz is very important in fight
against Turks. In 17 and 18 century Kriz was called Kriz in Obed.
Later it was called Vojni Kriz (Military Cross) which contained nearby
