Area 51,
Nevada
Area
51 is a part of a military base near Groom Dry Lake in Nevada, USA. The
base is situated about 190 km northwest of Las Vegas. It is off-limits to
everyone except certain military personnel. The official map stops,
although there is plenty there. The off-limits area is about the size of
Switzerland. The 'use of deadly force' is authorized. It was designated a
secret base in 1954, where the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation developed spy
planes for the CIA. The Stealth Bomber, and other unconventional aircraft
were tested here. The USAF (United States Air Force) only admitted that it
existed in 1994.

It
is rumoured to hold evidence of extraterrestrial life on Earth. Recently,
a 98 mile stretch of Route 375 was designated the "Extraterrestrial
Highway". This is suspected to be an attempt to stop us thinking that
there is a cover-up. This kind of action has been taken several times in
the last century, always after a "UFO landing". Ever since it was founded
in 1954, strange objects have been seen and reported in the sky above it.
Anyone caught in the base (they have very high security) can be
shot. There is, however, a convenient vantage point to one side of the
base. It is quite far away, but many people still go there to try to catch
a glimpse of a UFO landing. Some people have even been approached by the
flying objects, and suffered radiation burns.
It is supposed that the US
government has a treaty with the aliens which allows them to fly into the
area at will, on the condition that we can experiment on them and try to
duplicate their technology.

In
May 1989, Robert 'Bob' Lazar, a contract scientist who worked on the base
for five months from December 1988, revealed that the government was
investigating nine alien craft, trying to adapt the alien technology for
its own use. In the interview he used the name 'Dennis', and his voice was
electronically distorted. He said he and his wife were receiving death
threats. After the interview he got more death threats, and his car was
shot at. In November he described the 'S4' site. This was next to
Papoose Lake, within Area 51, and was where the flying saucers were
stored. He told that he was part of a 22-man team of engineers whose job
was to work out how the propulsion systems worked.
Lazar claimed that S4 was an underground complex, occupying a whole
mountain range. He doesn't think that the discs are man-made, because the
dimensions and form of the craft are not suited to humans. He said, "It
has no physical seams, no welds or bolts or rivets. Everything has a soft,
round edge to it - as if it's made out of wax and heated for a time and
then cooled off". The seats were only a couple of feet off the base.
There were arches and portholes, and the propulsion system was a small
object (baseball sized), which emitted an anti-gravity field through a
hollow column in the center of the craft.

His briefing papers showed large
amounts of UFO-related information, including pictures of aliens (exactly
as described in the Roswell section of this website - small, grey, with
large, hairless heads). They showed that these aliens were from the
Zeta Reticuli star system,
and mentioned an incident in 1979, where aliens had killed security
personnel and scientists at the base.
He saw two men "Looking down and talking to something with long arms - I only
caught a glimpse, but I don't know what on Earth that was".
George Knapp, who interviewed Lazar, has the video testimony of one man
who ran several large military programmes at Nellis. This tape will not be
shown until after the man's death. Many other witnesses have come forward
with supporting evidence to George Knapp, but will not be interviewed on
TV - they fear the consequences.

Is there any
reliable video evidence?
Many
films of UFOs over the Nevada desert have been taken and analysed with
modern computers. They nearly all showed bright objects which moved
through the sky at extremely high speeds, carrying out very strange
manoeuvres. Most of the video evidence is considered to be authentic.

Are there any
witnesses?
Here's an extract from a UFO forum conference on CompuServe, featuring
Gary Schultz:
This is an introduction
by the Moderator: Welcome to today's UFO event
featuring Gary Schultz! On February 28, 1990 Gary Schultz, a chemical
physicist by profession, first went out to Hwy. 375 in Central Nevada with
his wife Pearl. On that occasion he took the world's best photograph of
what he calls an "H-PAC" (Human-Piloted Alien Craft) which has been
published and discussed in numerous books, most notably Timothy Good's
"Alien Contact". Gary was so moved by the experience, in that same year he
founded "Secret Saucer Base Expeditions" designed to educate the public
and stimulate media attention about Area-51/"Dreamland". Gary began taking
large numbers of people from Southern California out to Hwy. 375, the
"Mailbox Road" and adjoining areas. Pearl, with Linda Moulton Howe there
as her witness, is the original discoverer of "White Sides Mountain"
offering an un-obstructed view of the base at Groom Lake. Gary has
appeared in numerous electronic and print media concerning the activities
at Nellis Air Force Range, i.e. Area-51.
And this is what Gary
Schultz said: On my most prolific trip ever to
Area-51 on December 6, 1990, I was camped out with a group of around 30
when (at 6:24am--broad daylight) someone yelled "Look at that!" Everyone
gathered and viewed this huge, glowing saucer, which was pulsating a
brilliant orange-red and flying slowly over the Jumbled Hills - AND IT WAS
BEING FOLLOWED BY A MILITARY HELICOPTER about a quarter mile behind. One
of the group captured the entire incident on videotape while others took
quality stills (and I have copies). After about a minute the strange
object disappeared behind the hills and into the Nellis Air Force Range.
After the saucer disappeared, we watched as the helicopter finally landed
at a facility atop Bald Mountain which we had never noticed before.

Here's his response to some
questions: What shape was the
craft, Gary, and it's overall appearance? It was ellipsoidal in shape and was surrounded by a pulsating
orange-red glow. At what speed
was it going at, roughly? It's
difficult to judge because of the distance but it was travelling slow
enough for a helicopter to comfortably follow it. Gary, have you camped out recently near Area 51
or does the government try and make you leave? I bet it is a huge rush
being out near that base? Not
recently. It is still public land so you have every right to go there. As
far as I know there is no OVER harassment (however, electronic mind
control, non-lethal weaponry harassment?). Did anyone see you watching this, from what I know there is
military all around, why would they let you witness this and where did
this thing come from, the air, ground, etc? Of course they knew we were there. This is part of what I call
the developing "Open Secret".We were viewing this from public land - at
THE BLACK MAILBOX, "Steve Medlin Box 80," adjacent to Highway 375, at the
29 1/2 mile marker, Tikaboo Valley, Lincoln County,
Nevada. What do you know about
the underground bases there? There are plenty of underground tunnels inside the Nellis Air
Force Range. As far as BASES, no knowledge, only hearsay. Even Robert
Lazar had no knowledge of any extension of the secret saucer facility that
he worked at as having an underground component. With today's government technology they use to
keep the world from learning about UFOs, would you say we have a chance at
uncovering the secrets they hold. I am very interested in camping out near
Area 51. Are there any groups who camp out there
regularly? There are things going
on behind the scenes in Washington regarding this subject. Our response -
let's keep pouring sand in their gears and making a lot of noise,
continuously. I understand there are groups going out there now. One is
headed up by a lady in Las Vegas, NV. The L.A. Times ran a story about her
within this last year. Hello
Gary, what are your opinions on Bob Lazar's claims on the propulsion
systems used by the recovered craft that he had access to? Excellent. I know Bob Lazar and as a scientist myself,
when I first heard his explanation of Element-115, the antimatter reactor,
artificial gravity wave generation (each your heart out, Kip Thorne -
Caltech), and subsequent ability to bend space and travel in between time,
this all resonated very powerfully with me.

Gary then submitted this
prepared statement: NORTHROP'S
TEJON RANCH "ANTHILL", as told to Mark McIntyre and edited by Gary Schultz
November 4th, 1996: One of my closest friends (and neighbour) is Gary
Schultz. Gary is a chemical physicist by profession and in 1990 was the
first to take large groups out to Area-51/Nevada and California's Mojave
Desert (pronounced mo-HA-vee) with his "Secret Saucer Base Expeditions".
On one occasion in 1991 he and his wife, Pearl, took 30 people into the
Mojave to Tejon Ranch (pronounced: te-HONE), site of Northrop's secured,
underground facility nicknamed "The Anthill." They went to a hillside
location overlooking Tejon Ranch just a few miles away. Late that night a
white, glowing/pulsating, silent, disc-shaped object about 30 feet in
diameter slowly rose up from behind a small hill on the site. They all
watched in astonishment as it rose only a few hundred feet into the air
then slowly made its way to the east in the direction of Edwards AFB. Five
minutes later, to everyone's amazement, another identical object came up
from the same spot and did the exact same thing. 30 people watched for
nearly 2 hours as approximately 25 of these glowing "saucers" ascended
and, one-by-one, slowly made their way east. Hope I'm not boring you;
it gets better. One of the objects (when it got directly over the dirt
road that leads to where these folks were watching) stopped and hovered
for a few seconds, then changed course and headed straight up the road
toward the group, and by this time some of the people were FREAKING! One
of his group, Tim, had the presence to grab his camera, climb on the hood
of his car and, bracing his back on the windshield, took some quality
photos of the thing. Gary has the best photo in his possession. They got
some good video footage that night as well. Gary was so moved by the
experience that shortly thereafter, Gary and four others hired a small
plane to fly as close as possible to the Anthill. From up in the air,
using binoculars, they could clearly see that there was a tiny, man-made
LAKE behind the suspicious "saddle area" that borders the east side of
Northrop's Anthill. This is a notorious high traffic area where UFOs have
been seen to emanate from and re-enter behind. This lake in the blazing
desert and middle of nowhere is, in the opinion of many area residents,
obviously being artificially maintained. Gary has a quality photo of the
small lake taken from the airplane. His working hypothesis is the lake's
being used as a portal to launch and retrieve these craft from the
underground installation. I'll bet Jack Northrop (rest his soul) would
be really proud of his
boys.
